Does the sun lighten eye color or darken it?

Neither. The sun shouldn't be getting in your eyes anyway!Does the sun lighten eye color or darken it?
my eyes change color constantly. Sometimes i can't buy beer or something beacuse my id says brown and they may be blue or green that day. My eyes get lighter when it is brighter or more lighted. And also if i am wearing a lighter color shirt. If it is dark or im wearing black my eyes get browner. The sun makes my eyes lighter.





But...





Eyes change color by produsing melanin. Usually it takes a whole season or weeks to change color. Sunlight causes the eyes to produce melanin which is supposed to make them darker. It is supposedly a fact that eyes cannot produce melanin fast enough to change color rapidly. But i know for a 100% fact that my eyes can change color within 10 seconds. I have watched it happen in a mirror and have taken video of it.





So i don't really know the answer. Sunlight scientifically should make your eyes darker. But mine get lighter most the time. Sometimes darker but not usually. Also my eyes can change within seconds. Maybe i am just a freak or somethingDoes the sun lighten eye color or darken it?

my eyes supposed to be brown but it is a bit dark brown.. now.. could be the sun darken it..
neither my dear.. the sun damages your eye just like the skin.
Sorry Charlie. Genetics predict eye color, you can't do anything to change that.
