Does anyone know if a bat's eye's are the color red, as they are shown in scary movies?

A friend of mine recently moved into a house that has bat's in the attic, and another friend swears that becuz the bat is a nite creature he has red eyes, I say no they don't! Anyone know for SURE??Does anyone know if a bat's eye's are the color red, as they are shown in scary movies?

A bat has black and brown eyes. I have had a pet bat before and it's little eyes were brown. I also explore caves and capture and release these wonderful little creatures. And their eyes are mostly brown and black.
No, they do not, the red is merely a reflection off the cones in their eyes.
nope,black is the color, they aren't scary evil creatures portrayed in the movies they are actually good,your friend will probably not have an infestation of mosquito's!
No, but sometimes the light from cameras kind of makes them look red.
