How to use makeup to help eye color pop?

I have hazel eyes and my friend does, too. She read somewhere (or was told by someone..idk) that she could use certain colors of eyeshadow to make the green in her hazel eyes more noticeable! She tried it, and it worked. She is at camp now =( so I can't ask her what exactly she did, so I was wondering if anyone here knows? I have skin that's a few shades darker than pale when it's winter (now it's darker since it's summer!) and dark dark brown hair. Thank you!!How to use makeup to help eye color pop?
Red's, Pinks %26amp; Purples.

Will make the green in your eyes stand out, they are the complimentry colors for green.

Try a few different shades of each %26amp; see what you like best. How to use makeup to help eye color pop?
black eyeliner looks really good w/hazel/brown eyes! :)

and green shadow. or brown.

will look good w/your features %26amp; eyecolor.
try to use opposite colors, such as:

-purple for green eyes.

-brown/ tan for blue(ish)

this will make the actual colors in your eyes stand out!

:)
purples and plum colors make green eyes pop. urban decay has a lot of different purpleish plum shades that i LOVE...my eyes are the same way...use the plum and shade it with a good black...and they will look amazing :)
