Can your eye color change over time?

I was looking in the mirror today to check my face, and i noticed something about my eyes. My eyes are medium brown, but when i looked closely, i noticed there was a fairly medium blue rim around the Iris on both my eyes. Could my eyes change to a dark/medium blue over time? Is this a bad thing? should i see a doctor?

I'm multiracial with white, black and Arab if that accounts for anything I would of thought that Id have brown eyes. ButI was told I use to have blue eyes up until I was about 3. Now my eyes are hazel with a yellow rim round my iris.

Interesting, me too to everything except the blue eyes thing. I heard its when you get older your eyes get lighter? I have light-medium brown eyes and one time I looked in the mirror and they were a bronze/goldish color. Really pretty. Never saw them like that again. Im barely 16 tho so idk about you
sure can. i used to have black eye color but now they lightened up a lil. sometimes they can turn into light brown but thats because i have a condition. its not anything bad its just that my eye color changes frequently. i still live a normal life no big deal.
I read an article about this a few months back. It said that eye color can change over time. Sometimes wearing different colors of clothes brings out certain colors, but even so the colors can change. Usually they get lighter.

Yes! I remember this one guy who's eyes were a brown color but over time it became more green. And no it's not a health concern =)
had ice blue eyes when i was little, im 21 now and they are a turquios/mint green with yellow around the middle.
the color of the eyes gets darker not lighter
